SAAM AGRO, a committed player in humanitarian support, actively collaborates with organizations such as Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to provide food aid to struggling populations. In Madagascar, where over 1.14 million people suffer from acute food insecurity due to prolonged drought, SAAM AGRO plays a crucial role in delivering essential food supplies.
In partnership with CRS, which operates in the Androy and Atsimo Andrefana regions, SAAM AGRO contributes to the distribution of food rations consisting of Corn Soy Blend (CSB+), sorghum, yellow split peas, and vegetable oil. These efforts aim to support vulnerable households, including pregnant and lactating women, children under two years old, and participants in the “Food for Assets” projects.
Through SAAM AGRO’s commitment, thousands of people receive the necessary aid to overcome this challenging period. This partnership highlights the importance of collaboration between the private sector and humanitarian organizations in combating food insecurity and promoting community resilience.
